Who Says It’s Hard To Reach A Unanimous Verdict?

Way back in 2003 (a.k.a. television’s pre-TIVO era), the Boys of Fall were faced with the dilemma of playing their own version of the Ryder Cup at the same time “real” Ryder Cup was being televised.   The course of action turned out to be a simple one, tape it on the VCR and ignore all media throughout the day.  But the path to get there hit a bit of a snag when no blank tapes could be found amongst the vast collection of outdated movies in the home owner’s library.  After careful review of all the selections, the choice of which movie to tape over was a no doubter:

  1. The coup de grâce…punching out the tabs on the tape so the home owners were forced to watch the American team take a Bangladeshian-like beating…forever.
